For more than 35 years we have run the same stretch of Washington: the airline warehouses at SEA out to wherever the freight is going.
The company
A local freight company, and nothing more complicated.
Air Cargo Express picks up and delivers at the airport, and moves freight between businesses. That is the whole description, and it has not needed updating in three decades.
What has changed is everything around it: carriers, handlers, warehouse systems, screening requirements, the traffic on I-5. Knowing that landscape as it is today, not as it was five years ago is most of what a forwarder is buying when they call a cartage agent, and it is the part you cannot hire quickly.
We have stayed deliberately small and deliberately local. Washington State only, one dispatch desk, drivers who run the same corridor every day. When you call, you get somebody who knows which counters queue in the afternoon and which receivers close at three.
Based in the Seattle–Tacoma area, working the Puget Sound corridor from Everett down to Lakewood.

How we work
Process over promises.
We do not publish on-time percentages or guarantee recovery windows, because release status, handler queues and inspection holds are not ours to control. What we commit to is the process.
You confirm, we roll
You tell us the freight is released and good to go. We do not second-guess that; we send the truck.
We tell you while it matters
Delays reach you while the driver is still standing there, not after the fact.
We close the loop
Verbal proof of delivery the same day once it is available; hardcopy the next business day.
We say no clearly
Out of state, over the DG ceiling, or outside our equipment, you hear it on the call.
